After the mongols ransacked Baghdaad and killed the Khalifa the Arab civilisation was done.
They became sand and non Arabs like Turks took the helm.

The Turks were shakers and movers of the global politics and the West used Arabs to destroy them.

The dabodhilifs were then used to ran new nations that were formed in the Arab world.Leaders of
Saudis,Kuwaitis,Qataris, Syria etc were all Arab spies working for the European powers.

You cant expect the descendants of these back stabbers to be better. A snake gives birth to a snake.
Somalia unfortunately did seek guidance and friendship from these blind mice.

There is no relevant field where Somalia is infront of any Arab country or ever was pre civil war. A female pilot dressed like that is not an development, from a religious and cultural point it is rather a negative aspect. Decline of religious values is not an achievement for Muslim society like Somalia, hence communism was misplaced from the very beginning. The so called emancipation policy from the government back then, was the first step to destroy the relatively moderate conservative Somali culture and lead during the civil war (and even before) to radical Salafi movements and terrorist groups like Al Shabab.

Real advancement starts when you can fulfill the basic needs of your populations, for example food supply, which Somalia never could and still can't, in contrast to almost all Arab countries. Somalia was beginning from 1960 - 1991 one of the poorest countries even for Sub Sahara African standards, regardless which parameter you consider to measure 'advancement'. In other words even without a civil war Somalia would have been the bottom of the world like it was pre civil war and is today. Nostalgia blinds the human reason, so let us forget about Arabs, we cannot even compete with African 3rd world countries.

Such argumentations, that without the break out of the civil war many things could have been achieved, can only be applied for countries like Iraq, Syria and Libya, but by no means for any African shithole, nevermind Somalia.

@Abdurahman_somali,

Not that you are wrong but I think you're over analysing this.

Being a pilot is a achievement a female one at that regardless of her dress code. Asli made history for Somalia. Most modern day Somalis worship clan so the "religious" & "conservative" argument here doesn't make sense.

A personal achievement for her maybe, but I don't see why this is should be an achievement for Somalia as a whole ? This would implicate that emancipation is an achievement, which is a liberal idea. Liberal values are not a parameter to detect achievements for a Muslim country.

The fact that they worship clans today is a seperate issue.

Who else would it be a achievement for if not for the women of Somalia? she is a role model for Somali girls who want to be pilots in the future. It has nothing to do with emancipation since Somali women were never oppressed like in the Middle east to begin with. The point of the thread is Arabs are celebrating something that was achieved by a Somali woman 4 decades ago in 2020.

My assessment and it's all predictions but with all due respect to Siyad(now observe this little clan cheerleader come in and go all emotional) @TekNiKo not guided by any rationality whatsoever, he think it will make my view gedo favorable cuz of ONE MAN kkkkk. Somalis in la amaano waxay uu qaateen inaad wax ku helaysid, fucking hell, waa dad cajib ah, oo maskax horey weli ku shaqayo oo aduunka la joggo aanu ogayn kkk

But all due respect to the old man, I think he wanted to leave a legacy of fulfilling the 5 SOMALI thing and be in the history books for it, if the ogaden war went well and NFD went well, he would've returned and seen there is no longer a military 'need' and would've resigned or declared that we are shifting to a democracy. That is my bet, I can't imagine he would've stayed in power when he made it in the history books and legacy of delivering the grand somali vision and tarnish it by holding onto power and not delivering or moving Somalis into another 'direction'. What direction that would've been, I don't know. That's if there was no internal pressure not to give up power, if there some internal pressure to hold onto power like his 5 somali dream being jepordised the old man would've of stayed longer.

Nobody mentioned MSB or Gedo so you are going overboard with qabil thing that you were complaining to the admin. It is abt Asli and her becoming a pilot earlier than the Jordanian one. Stick to that

So she is his daughter. The King's daughter. The entire country waited for his daughter to get this ''prestige'' title beside already being a princess.

:faysalwtf:

when princess is not enough they carve out first ''female pilot'' title for you
