Women are not as funny as men because they don’t need to be. Funniness is viewed as an attractive trait in men, women like funny men and are more likely to date them despite their appearance. Funny men often tend to date women out of their leagues and whom without their funniness, these females would have never considered them at potential mates.
However, men don’t consider funniness in a female an attractive enough trait to over look appearance. Sure, having a nice looking girl who’s also funny is great, but not great enough to make funniness an important enough trait to over look over things. Appearance trumps everything with men. And that’s just their biology.
