Well we can’t say that Somalis deserve it. Innocent civilians are just trying to live a normal life and don’t really have the power to change things because of all the corruption. I understand what you mean in a way we are not surprised anymore. But I really don’t want to be desensitized. The world doesn’t care already it would be sad if us western Somalis were the same.

You do get desensitized after a while.

I don’t believe Somalis deserve this, the innocent destitute Somali who works just to pay for food are victims just as much. The corrupt politicians who can’t get their shit together are the ones to blame. Add to that war mongering ‘clan chiefs’ .

Al shabaab is protected by the qabil and as long as qabil is stronger than everything in Somalia nothing will change

Another one. Now I am just unfazed. I saw too many things during a 2 week period that I should have not. Deaths and bombings, shooting. Somalia has went down the drain under this administration! And you wonder why I said that. It is because nothing good comes out of corruption and mismangement. Zoobe and this occurred under Farmajo, Khyere and Fahad Yasin (Who I believe is involved). But yet we support different and broken systems. "Oh, It does not effect me since I am from PL", or "SL needs to become independent from this Shithole". I understand what your saying. It gets to a point where all of this becomes pointless. I honest to god believe if you asked the sucide bombers what they are fighting for. They wouldn't be able to tell you or it wouldn't make sense to any rational person

There is no logic in this and that is why I have become slight desensitized. It has now been thirty years and yet the are still killing each other, over what? When will the wake up and understand that the system they have is hell and the can only fix it if they come together irrespective of qabil and slaughter those imbeciles who have taken a whole country hostage.

Alhumdillah I live in the west. Imagine dying at any moment due to random attacks. Attacks that are driven by nothing but the stupidity of someone who would rather be a third agent for foreigners to divide and weaken us.

How can you go through with this, how can one wake up in the morning and be willing to slaughter your own people. People who are poor, weak and devoid of hope. al Shabaab has done nothing for somalia but destroy the country. I beg Allah helps us and alleviates our suffering

That is how felt with the recent bombing. It’s funny how innocent people are always dying but warlords are being appointed seats in the parliament, whether that is somalia, Puntland and Somaliland.
