Better studying tips?

Get off somalispot and other forums. Biggest distraction. Thats what I did and took a long ban but I am back for a while, then ill request another ban soon once school is back

I am currently going through an exam period, I have exams on January. I am so stressed out all I think about is exams, I even had a dream about my exams

Just do it. I always found solace in the fact that people dumber than me passed the exams by sheer hard work.

it depends on the subject. For me, i easily got As in subjects that required memorization by taking adderall and re-reading all the notes. I've always had problems studying math. That's why im pulling an all-nighter for my Final tomorrow. PS im going to be doing a bunch of questions with no note taking

Understanding your syllabus like the back of your hand is the biggest thing. Reading the upcoming lessons and making notes of key points, so that when you go in to your lecture you already know 50-60% of the content.

Do as many questions as possible on your subject, knowing the content is one thing, being able to apply that knowledge in exam format is another thing entirely.

Lastly, doing a little studying everyday add ups so much. I’m in a situation now where I have to bust my balls everyday for these finals as I didn’t constantly revise.

Good luck.

Abandon the laptop for notes. Good old fashioned paper and pencil.

Read the chapter EVERY WEEK. It's like working out YOU CANNOT MISS A WEEK.

If you consistently write out notes on each assigned chapter, do the weekly questions, come exam period you won't ever have to touch your text book.

You then will highlight all the major parts of your notes. Read all of your notes, from the first week to the last week in one sit in.

After reread those notes but stop and recite it off your head. Look at your notes if you're right, if wrong don't try again mark that part down and read the next week and keep going until you MEMORIZE AND UNDERSTAND the material.

I used this method. It was like hacks. I regret not going into medicine honest. :mjhaps:
