According to most sources somalis come in the northern part of Somalia and northern part of Ogadenia.
Our people slowly migrated southward through the course of many centuries and reached the current area of NFD and Kenya.
In the middle ages much of the area south of lower shabelle was still inhabited by other peoples like borana oromos who were eventually either assimilated or forced to migrate to their current territory in northern kenya
It's absolutely normal for people to migrate from their original homelands , germanic tribes originally came from eastern Europe and settled all over Germany,Netherlands Austria and Scandinavia.
