What's up with these coon malis? i can handle any other type of somali but never a coonmali. Cooning for the british that divided our land and pitted brothers against brothers like trained dogs in an exhibition match. The most shameful deed in the history has got to be siding with a coloniser against your own ppl.

Great family.

Give them some credit, their kids and relatives are not stabbing one another on the projects in London and are rubbing shoulders with the elite. Envy their politics if you like, but Somalis should be abandoning the projects, educating their children and becoming aspirational like this family.

Kudos to the Ali family.

Instead of running their campaign fair and square and not involving a country they supposedly seceded from, we should congratulate them on.... Not stabbing each other and rubbing shoulders with "elites"?

What's inspirational about letting citizens from a different country in to your countries internal affairs?

Pathetic.

@General Asad

What triggers you all is their succession campaign on the global stage and right now, they are doing a brilliant job in realising that dream on the shoulders of these two siblings. Britain is a major European country that could assist them with their dream of being recognised. Instead of wasting time in insulting and belittling them, waste your energies in bringing the rest of the Somali regions together as a united, strong, peaceful and prosperous country and once they see that, the Somalilanders will voluntarily come to the table and join their brothers and sisters. From Raas Kambooni to Raas Xafuun, the Somali clans are feuding and terrorists are taking advantage of them and became embedded in the fabric of their societies while they are causing havoc on the ground because they can't share power and stand united. The Somalilanders aren't going to the moon, therefore ignore them and work on our unity in the South.

Triggered? Who's triggered lmao. I'm just stating what I observed.

They have been "seceding" for 30+ years. Their parents never accomplished it so what chance do the offspring have? Somalilanders need to choose whether they are "somalis" (a title they supposedly despise and hate being attributed to) or they are their own country. Can't be half way in and out. Can't be cooning and expect people to welcome you back with open arms. "Somaliland" is a failed project and this family is the epitome of coonery.

“Coonery” as you put it is in our genes. Due to our lack of reconciliation and arrogance in bringing different clans establishing a peaceful and viable country, we the public are jubilant been divided into reer UAE and Saudis Vs reer Turkey and Qatar followed by reer Kenya against reer Ethiopia. Coonery got us to that situation. Let’s overcome that first and don’t put the cart before the horse. As for this family and their aspirations to make inroads into the political establishment of Britain while other Somalis are worried their children being killed with knives in the projects, regardless of their political persuasion and agenda, acknowledge them to be successful Somalis. We need more of them.

Bud, your not making a lick of sense and need to admit to your biasedness. Are you a lander? Do you know these people behind closed doors?

Sucking up and letting in foreigners to our culture was not our ancestors did. Gerard Hanley (sp) and other colonizers have written and spoken on their stubborness and refusal to be docile/submissive. Give me an example of an ancestor of ours that supposedly "cooned"? I didn't think so.

I can tell you have never stepped foot in somalia or had chat with anyone who lives in somalia. The overwhelmingly majority are ready to work togther and fix their country but the.politicians are being paid by UAE and their cronies to keep us divided. Cooning never got us into this situation. A dictator using clans in a a negative way did.

Again, successful where? The native white born british people do not care for them and with this news are becoming weary of them. Even claiming somliland has not done them much good and it will be a matter of time before the public turns on them. Successful people do not need to lie about their upbringing and country of origin.

@General Asad

Continue your tribal crusade against Somalilanders but I’ve been three times to somalia and spent most of that time in Puntland. I saw how dangerous and fragile the situation was there. I don’t even know a single relative married to a Somalilander let alone hailing from there. All your judgements and opinions are clouded by tribal loyalties, I have none. Go ahead with your crusade against Somalilanders.
