That asia on the end had me shook. I thought the Chinese were taking over for a second.
Yeah I noticed this. Wherever I was in Somalia (minus the roadblocks) it was calm and slow. Nothing really went on.
Hargesia is more bubbly in a way, noone is suspicous of you and what you do. No random police as well!

I love it, Wallahi I walked from Ambassador Hotel to all the way to Half-London, I loved it. A free Movement, no checkpoint, no you marahan, no nothing

Hargasia may be still mediocore, but in terms of freedom and movement, yes it may be little bit expensive, but for this safety, I would pay!

It has a cool climate at night. It could be chilly in the mornings.
I would advice you to visit the Tiyaatarka. It’s a must you visit. It has awesome restaurant for a shithole.
You can visit this place called Beerta Libaaxa. It is owned by dubious characters who oppress their neighbors. It’s a club in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
Go to the live camel milk drinking spot right near your spot.
