They work because the men won’t.

Women in Somalia can’t spend 12-13 hours a day chewing khat and blowing up people like the men are doing, so they have to go overboard in keeping the society going.

But we would become like Sweden, Thailand and Philippines and the country would be good on the outside but rotten from within. At least now, our land is still ours despite the presence of foreign troops and interference.

With men in leadership, there is a gamble to rise or fall but with women it would remain stagnant and collapse in some other spectacular way

You're right we wouldn't have had a civil war because we would have been extinct!Every matriarical society was doomed to fail.Just look at how easy it was to convince them that they actually belong in the countries they currently live in.


The men don't have an out either.We are totally different from our forefathers who were geesi and weren't afraid of anything besides god.They stopped both the Bantu and Oromo expansion,they beat the Portuguese multiple times and enslaved their soldiers and were the ones who made Somalia have the greatest maritime history in Africa.The Somali men of today are a khasaaro with no backbone.I mean how can you leave your wife to do all the work and sit at the makhaayad eating khat and talking about bulshit politics that won't help the situation they're family is in.

Both gendres have major issues to deal with and change but you can't change a society unless it changes itself.

If any of you want to go and change the state of Somalia then they'll have to change their state internally.
