Why don't Somalis befriend other Africans, I notice a lot of Somali and Ethiopian guys in groups but never see other Africans with them. The dark Africans stick together.

Why is that? We all African.

Dark Africans?
Have you seen Somalis.More than half of the Somalis are darkskinned.

The reason why Somalis and other Horners keep to themselves and don't interact much with other Africans is because of the many differences we have.
We don't have the same culture, don't look the same and in most cases we don't share the same religion

Somalis don't befriend, Kenyans, Sudanese etc and they are east africans too. Somalis and Ethiopians don't share anything at all. We are very different.

We share more with other Horn Africans than we do with any other group on the planet.

Kenyans don't share anything with us.I'm closer to an Algerian than I am to a Kenyan.

Plus the Kenyans don't really like interacting with us either. To each their own and that's how it should be:manny:

I’m friends with lots of non horner african, but I don’t think I have to be friends with them just because we’re from the same continent. We’re very different and that’s fine.

Have your family not lived in Kenya for generations? You feel closer to an Algerian than a Kenyan muslim who you you understand the language and culture of his? Weird.

I remember listening to my aunt's story, she said when the civil war broke out in Somalia she left to Kenya , and stayed in a refugee camp. When they would go out to the markets the Somali women would cover their noses with their hijabs, because of the bad odour coming from the Kenyans. This made the Kenyans really angry and this issue caused a big fight between Somalis and Kenyans , many Somalis died between 1992 & 1993.

The first tribe my aunt told me who ranway from the Kenyans were the marehanis , they went to a place called gedo.
