I used to be an Incel

I wanna come out and share this storyMaybe it can help my brothers and help the women understand more because I believe these young men are just hurt and it goes beyond something like not having female attention. I was very resentful of the women I grew up around for not protecting me from predators and abuse I also grew up in a toxic environmenta andused that to fuel my hate. I used to findfault in everything women do.one of the best things about self reflection is teaching yourself to unlearn what you believed to be true your whole life. Im not talking about the religion you guys follow before i get attacked. I mean what you thought was normal. You can lead a toxiclifeand birth kids just like you and the rest of your family or you can start fresh. I was also a toobig qabilist. Think about that. I didnt even have my father around yet I would die over my dumb tribe. A lot of people are in that situation. They don't even like their dad but they have a false sense of pride. Unlearn or have toxic children.

This is just too emotional for me. I was friends with an incel who I genuinely wanted to help coz I knew his family was dysfunctional. I had to cut him off for my safety.

Thanks for sharing your story.

When you think about it, we were all incels at one point:francis: I don't know why they let it be the sole focus of their life though. I remember when I was in school I was so worried about grades and my life's direction I didn't have time to worry about girls. And still after graduating within a year I got a romantic relationship. Immediately realized it's not all it's cracked up to be, petty, stressful, aimless etc.

No one's is too ugly either so all that ideology they have about Chad's is BS. I will never understand why they waste so much energy on it.

Bro, all the best with your journey ahead and endeavour in reversing your life and you made a valid point in the qabiilist claim because most of the young Somali guys that I’ve seen obsessed with qabiil fadhi ku Dirrir were themselves guys whose fathers abandoned them and were not in their lives. Maybe it’s a way of compensating their ego not having a father in their life growing up that they got a whole qabiil/gang that they patriarchaly thought to belong to. We even had a gentleman here (can’t remember his nick) who stated that his mother married another somali man when he was a baby and he was never told that he was his stepdad and believed him to be his blood father. Once he found out his real father, he realised the clan that he always hated all his life was the same clan as his birth father and therefore abandoned fadhi ku dirrir. I have that nagging suspicion that most young Somalis who are passionate about fadhi ku dirrir do share similar experiences with you. I hope that they too would realise it sooner than later. Good luck mate.

I wish I could like your commenta million times. My obsession with qabil was a sickness and it is real stems from a lack of anything positive in your life. Its a drug for people to have something to cling onto when they are otherwise hopeless. I used to even give preference to people in my life based off of qabil. Looking back it was because I was lacking anything to really be proud of so it was my crutch. I was mistreated by my qabil and would have died over it. But today I don't even hate my qabil. Because it doesn't mean nothing. It's a name. It shouldn't affectme the way it did. I feel bad when I see these young people insult each other's clans because deep down I know they yearn for something in their life. Thank you for your kind words.
