Look 4-7k a month house and flats. They are pretty decent. It's not exspesives if you don't live the London lifestyle.
Other users outside of the UK have some wierd obsession. They could be living in the Brazilian favelas and they'll try and convince themselves it's better than London. Too crowded. I felt my personal space was invaded when i visit there. Also, my vanity also takes a hit. People are so jaded, they dont notice people anymore. I felt like i dont get the vanity stare i am used to! Vastly disappointing and annoying.

London is too expensive to live in, and there's not really value for money when buying a house there.
My plan is to buy a house in somewhere like Newcastle or Stoke (a 4 bedroom modern house will cost £150,000 to £180,000), then commute to London for higher waged work through the HS2 (new train linking London to the rest of England). Genuinely there's no point living in London when you can get all their services & work opportunities through the HS2 then live a cheaper lifestyle somewhere in the North.

Forget about the expense. London is a very very nice city to visit. Central London is nice, there is so much to do. But I would never live there.

Canada and the US, especially Canada have way way more land that's why houses are so much bigger and roads are so much wider.

There are a bad side in every city. I don’t come from London and there are council estates in some areas but not everywhere.
