Distance calculations are complicated by all kinds of factors. Stuff like the African vs Out-of-Africa split is the most important factor. So a half Igbo half Swede will be more distant to Swedes than a full Tamil would be to Swedes due to the OOA stuff without having ties to the aforementioned group.
