It seems to the naked eye that the Indians are a league of their own, but Somalis in Somalia will give a run for their money. A European is now begging Somalis to respect children because another 11 year old Somali girl was raped in daylight. Do you hear them? No. The families of the raped victims are very poor so they suffer in silence while the rest of the society prefers not to be heard and therefore not to damage the “Somali pride”. In India, women are more organised and lobby for the rights of all females and that’s why every rape case is publicised on social and their local media.
