Citizenship in the UAE comes with free healthcare and schooling, land, and even support and allowances for housing to raise your children and cover marriage costs. There are 9.4 million in the UAE, only 1.4 million have citizenship, these people HATE giving out citizenship.

I’m talking about the Residence visa which they call it Iqama. That’s a tourist visit which lasts for 30 days. I heard the Iqama (Residence Visa) is 1-2 years in the UAE. Since you’re from there I want to ask a question, how long does your Iqama last and is it expensive?
