One major clan would celebrate and claim denying the success and ambitions of their fellow countrymen or nation
Clan disputes would occur and the other clans would deny and disprove the success
That's how backwards we are and light years behind

so why did the Ethiopian parliament cancel the census 3 times so far, what are they fearing?
are the likes of ahmaar really fearing the muslims might be higher in numbers and ahmaar numbers are over estimated?

First, Amhara are not in power but we have an Oromo Prime minister. For some reason everybody thinks Amhara are in power for the last decades even those who are in power think so The census was postponed because at that time millions were displaced by ethnic clashes and this would have huge impact on the numbers. The second reason was the security situation in some areas was not good enough for those who actually do the census. This has nothing to do with religion. That is pure propaganda. It doesn't matter if Ethiopia is 60% muslim or 35%. That will change nothing unless someone tries to change the secular state to an islamic state.
let me know when a ethiopian reaches the mooon
