Being brutally honest with Somali Parents

Raw Hard Truth
I was wondering if anyone else has the same open lines of communications with their parents.
I encourage it because it removes hostility and negative feelings.

Usually when my mom and I talk about real shit, it's like two corporations coming together and discussing high level financial moves. We plan a day and time, I get her some coffee, and we lay it all out on the table.

She wanted me to get some high level degree and peruse a more academic route, instead of the business route I'm taking, but I told her, hoyo I did the math and I did the research, that kind of shit is not needed, I don't wanna pay some cadaan instution for something I don't need. I know what I am doing, By the time I'm 30, (on the path I am now) I'm gonna have at least 300k in the bank, savings, and In 2 years or LESS, I will buy us a brand new family home, all cash, and you can retire then too, I will fund your retirement in Africa and watch your kids for you, that's a good fucking deal. She agreed and went :dwill: damn ok.

I also told her, Hoyo macaan, you know where I am all hours of the day, I am not missing in action like these other somali girls. I am a good child, you got lucky :pachah1:.

Oh and she wanted to marry some dude over seas, I vetoed that and said Im good fam :drakekidding:

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Shaydaan should be the closest to you so you know what he’s up to all the time

The Holy Koran tells me, Shaitan/Shaydaan made an open proclamation against the children of Adam, and will try his damn hardest to make sure we burn in hell with him.

Say no to Shaytan :nahgirl:

I like this girl attitude keeda. Abaayo horey u soco.

My confidence got me this far in life, thanks for noticing.
@IftiinOfLife haven't seen you lately around here. Me thinks u were on some business venture that required focus. Did u make a killing?

I spent time running around with a friend checking out a new market. I try to do Halal business that doesn't promote negativity like pubs/bars, gambling, or even tobacco/vaping/ecigs, which is tough cause that last market is fucking booming.

Just now getting into the housing market. I will report my findings soon.

There are 24 hours in a day, I keep 5-6 hours reserved just for sleeping

8 hours making at least 30 dollars an hour/chasing money, so average to what a normal educated person makes in a day,

1 Hour of exercise

2-3 Hour of bullshit/unwind time/shukaansi?/social times

1 hour at LEAST learning something new.

Prayer/loving god/food/family time in between.

5 days dedicated to work ( above what i described is a typical work day), 2 days free dedicated to family and learning new ideas/business ventures/networking and other shit I can't discuss here :pachah1:.

Also, by talking with other Somalis, I noticed 99.9% LIE to their parents, even about the littlest things, and it breaks my heart they can't be honest with them.

From what I’ve noticed, people who make real money tend to keep quiet about it. It’s good you’re providing for your family but I’d keep lowkey about it if I was you.

You mean xasid people who don’t teach their community how to play the game and come out of poverty, if I’m winning ... we winning.

Don’t ever think that way , there’s always ways to make money , and all of our lives are different so we shouldn’t compare and contrast. Find a way to level up in your chosen field by taking the biggest shortcut.
