When that movie first came out, I a patriotic Somali refused to watch it, pay for it etc, for I knew they would take the piss.

Yeah I'm disappointed in my self becuz I watch it today for the first time and I sure as hell didn't pay for it.

Is it just me or was you lot rooting for those pirates, I wanted that cadan guy to get murked, If not I wanted the bros to get paid, I cried when they took our boys out loool

Overall better movie then that shitshow - black hawk down.

The phrase "I am the captain now" was popular after that movie ran. That line was memorable.

They used non-Somali Africans in black hawk down for acting. That is why it is didn't feel as legit as Captain Philips.

In black hawk down they used so many Madows that I accidentally found my self rooting for team USA - loool.

Ngl I was rooting for the Pirates knowing the context of why they are even Pirates in the first place.

Black Hawk Down was shitfest but I was still rooting for Reer Xamar to kick cadaan ass.
