Wallahi billahi he is a true leader that stood by his country in the most dire situations. While other fake leaders fled during a rebellion he is still in the capital and has regained control of his country against enemies of the state. He has proven to many opposed to him that he is their rightful leader and loyal to the state.

never seen such a Somali leader waa iska gaajo calool u shaqeysteyaal

Yes he stood up for his country, despite the disastrous civil war that took place, there are still parasites lingering that needs to be eliminated

The man is a fulay he didn't stay in Syria during the turbulent times he was enjoying Moscow with Putin.
Do you even know the definition of diplomacy
Your spewing garbage typical brainless zoooomali talking out of their ass

f*ck Bashar the baby killing gaal

Refrain from commenting
You dislike him because he's different from the rest of Arab gulf lapdogs
Accusing him of blasphemy already when you have limited knowledge of MENA, probably a secularist denier

You're not different from Jabhat Al Nusra if you call someone murtad

He's an Alawite Batini, even Shia regard them as heretics. "I don't recall" kulaha, either you don't have knowledge of the conflict or you're being wilfully ignorant. Read up on the Ghouta chemical attacks and watch those babies foam at the mouth as they die, and continue to bootyclap for the rat that killed them

Bal neefkaan eega, what has his religious affiliations got to do with the current situation , the only simp who's being ignorant is you spewing bulaacad

Poverty stricken minded they'll forever stick their hands to the UN aaar wax na siiyaaaa

It wasn't a gd thing to do but those SNM traitors should of came out like men not hide amongst civilians or in other towns.

So you are justifying the massacres that took place in the 80's
They were protecting their civilians from soldiers of Siad barre notorious for raping and killing unarmed civilians
There are reasons why war has took place that took a toll on his civillians such cowardice acts are why he was ousted ,
I'm not even from the North and acknowledge this was highest treason
As long as you think this way never expect to see a unified Somalia
When we have individuals fucking endorsing and igniting genocide

He is a kafir and killed 500k Muslims alongside Russia. In 1400s there have been no worse leadership in that area, his father was one of the creators of suicide bombings and they are Shia. May Allah curse everyone supporting him.

Assad waa geesi wallahi billahi. He couldve easily fled the country with a lot of money and lived somewhere else, but chose to stay during the most dire situations and fight for his country. He butchers the rats destabilizing his country not his own people.

No, he could have stepped down and gave up his power like any other normal rational sane leader would do. Large sections of the Syrian population didn't want him in power because him and his family were favouring his own Alawite tribe by giving them elite socio-economical and political status. Instead of distributing the power politically and economically speaking amongst the majority Sunni population of Syria.

The rebellion was caused on his part. The Syrian people didn't take up arms originally, they demonstrated peacefully until they were being slaughtered to death by Shiite militias from Lebanon, Iran and Russian airforce bombs.

No, I don't support ISIS or what these other Saudi and Qatari funded Islamic militias are doing in Syria. They are equally as insane as Al Assad.

Those "rats" you sarcastically insult are still Syrians, at the end of the day. They have every right to decide and choose who they want as their leader.

Nothing great, amazing or special about him. He’s horrible.

The source of greatness, if we’re going to call it that, is in powers that back him.

It’s pretty much the Somali situation in Barre’s era; a hostile dictator, a shattered populace (factions) fueled by its own leader, a Russian-American proxy war, only Somalia was abandoned, and it wasn’t politically expedient to protect Barre who’d flip-flopped between the two powers. America also has a pseudo-democratic image to protect, and they weren’t going to “save” Barre. Assad fled to Russia. Barre ruined his relationship with the Russians, and they switched over to the Ethiopian govt fully.

Mad respect to Bashar Assad for his resilience, he's won the Syrian war. However it's intellectually dishonest to sidestep the caveat of without the full military backing from Russia and Iran he would've been toppled, that's not really up for debate.

If I was one of the Generals of The Great Siad in the 80s and we had the full backing of Russia our government would still be standing today as well since we would be able to unleash endless payloads of artillery and missiles against the rebel scum.

Payloads of artillery only prolong the inevitable. It would have fallen eventually, as will Syria. It’s a patchwork right now, with the same vulnerabilities, but diminished.

Not necessarily. If you inflict a lot of damage in a relatively short amount of time people get to experience what a real war-zone is. Which is what the Syrians have now experienced i.e becoming refugees across the world, destruction of infrastructure, loss of life etc., As Assad continues to get a stronger grip on the nation the people will be wary of physical confrontations henceforth since they know the outcome will likely be in his favor. Absolute strength and domination is how you quell civil wars. Coincidentally the Soviet Union (USSR) fell on the same year as the former Somali republic (1991) so they wouldn't have been able to step in at that time. However as you mentioned the US wouldn't step in either as their facade of promoting democracy would be exposed so it was meant to be. However I will always believe that endless payloads of missiles would've gotten the message across with the zoo animals. This would be a quick and efficient way of giving them a taste of war, but at least save them from the disgrace of being a failed state for such a long time.

You’re naive. You think Syria won’t play out again?

I’m so confident it’ll implode that I ask you to remember me and this post when it does.

Lol @ calling me naive.

I've been following the Syria debacle closely since the beginning. This is the strongest position Bashar and Russia have had this whole time. America was the biggest opponent of the Assad regime and they've effectively pulled out of the war leaving Iran, Russia, and the Syrian government in control. And now Turkey has gotten ready to dismantle the Kurd forces near their border who've been allies with the US. There are no groups in the area the area that can challenge Bashar as he will only continue to get stronger with the military assistance he receives.

I think actually you’re being intellectually dishonest. These rebels had the backing of oil rich gulf nations, Israel, Western Europe and America yet were ousted and outmaneuvered by Syria/SAA, Iran, Russia, Hezbollah and lesser extent China (Indirectly). This uprising was never domestic but rather international infiltration of Syria; majority of the fighters weren’t even Syrian, they were paid unemployed young Arab men throughout the Arab world.

Syria is the first time in a long time that the unholy Western coalition, GCC and Israel faced military defeat. Libya was a major wakeup call for the World, and the same mistakes that happened in Libya hopefully will never be repeated. The Syrian government win is and was a major geopolitical change in the world which many don't realize. This has embolden numerous countries worldwide and the "impenetrable" armory of transatlantic partnership has been penetrated and exposed.

Idlib is the last region that remains, slowly the SAA will starve the militias, whilst rejuvenating the SAA for a final assault to oust criminals from Syria.

You might've misunderstood my post. It doesn't matter who was supporting the rebels, if Russia and Iran didn't come to his defense he would've been toppled, that's a fact and not intellecutally dishonest in anyway.

Now in the case of most uprisings or rebellions that take place, foreign interference is usually the case and this was no different. Assad was dealing with the onslaught known as the Arab spring revolutions that were mainly sponsored by the west. Their test dummy was Iraq and they became confident after Libya, for Russia this was a geopolitical battle to protect Iran who would've been next if Syria fell.
