Why do women demand men to be traditional if they aint in the kitchen

@Samaalic Era you seem to be a hardcore Shafii

According to your madhab, a woman does not have to cook for her husband.

So why the qashin?

@HalimaJ

I think @Samaalic Era went through a terrible divorce period with a diaspora Halima and this experience has turned him into a member of the Black Shirts, you call them Fathers4Justice.

They wear black shirts and look like paramilitaries. They are Australia's equivalent of Fathers4Justice.

Mothers live in fear of group whose tactics have been condemned by a judge

John Abbott is the extremist leader of Australia's answer to Fathers4Justice. While members of the British group invade Buckingham Palace dressed as Batman, their Australian counterparts - the self-styled "Black Shirts" - take a more aggressive approach to marital breakdown.

In this era there are many corrupt channels which display the pictures of beautiful women. So the young man depicts in his mind a picture of one of those women and then seeks a woman (to marry) just like the one in the picture. This is an error and not suitable.»

According to your madhab, a woman does not have to cook for her husband.

So why the qashin?

And according to that very madhab, a woman cannot take a single step outside the house without her husbands permission. Not even to visit her parents.

She does not have to cook, but she is not leaving the house either. Meesheeda ha fadhido.

Whilst, according to the Shafi madhab that is correct, doing so is not considered kind or recommended behaviour as you are potentially severing ties of kinship.

Right now, we are talking about cooking and cleaning. You are bringing up random topics to play tit for tat.

I am not Shafii, btw and according to all Madhabs apart from Salafis a wife does not have to cook for her man. If she does it is out of kindness and not duty.

I brought it up because traditional for me is whatever the religion prescribes, but fair enough. I am totally for traditional roles and I believe wholeheartedly that it is a mans duty to provide by himself.

Regarding cooking and cleaning, they are not compulsory upon the wife by default (according to madhab Shafi at least, but other schools of thoughts differ with us in this aspect, mind you). But at the same time, it is obligatory upon her to respond to whatever her husbands orders her to do that is Halal. Now, what if he commands her to cook and clean for him?

believing in some and abandoning some is not a madhab , sis. A womens ultimate duty is her husbands home. The wife should prostrate to her husband every morning and night(figuratively speaking). The husbands is the wifes ultimate guardian. Thats why you should choose a man you feel protected by/attracted to/religious(so he knows your rights and his limits)

Salafiyyah is not madhab.
«
  • Salafism (or Salafiyyah) is the true Path in following Islam and the Sunnah. A Salafi is one who follows the path of the Salaf As-Sālih exactly without alteration.
  • The terms Salafi, Sunni, Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamā’ah, As-hābul-Hadeeth and Ahlul-Hadeeth are interchangeable. All these titles refer to the same body of people who all follow the same path. However, not everyone who uses these titles is a true adherent of what they represent. In fact, the majority of people who ascribe themselves to these labels have beliefs and methodologies in opposition to the path of the Salaf As-Sālih. To distinguish between a mere claimant and a true adherent is one of the main purposes of this article.
To be a Salafi means adhering to the Creed, Methodology and the way of life of the Salaf As-Sālih (the Pious Predecessors). The earliest Salaf were the generation of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and his Companions. Then after them came the three virtuous generations of believers who held fast to the Sunnah (Path) of the Prophet and his Companions. The person who understands this path correctly, follows it exactly, without introducing anything into it and nor deviating from it is a Salafi. To be a Salafi is not merely to imagine that one is upon the true path of the Salaf, but Salafism is to study the religion of the Companions and follow it — it was they who understood best the meanings and intent of the speech and actions of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم).»

Women are still traditional.

In most relationships it is women that do the cooking and cleaning.

But now, men on top of that expect women to also work and help them with the bills.

Islamically a man has to provide. A woman though doesn't have to cook according to most of the madhabs.
You can’t have two bosses either for your husband in the house or you work for your little gaalo corporation

You are insane.

There is nothing wrong with women working.

Funnily enough, the average Abdi in the UK can't even provide without assistance from their wives. I know plenty of girls who would love to stay home for a while and focus on their kids, but they can't because of expensive living costs.

You are illogical. Gaalo boss kulaha.
