I agree with you, this admin has a lot of imperfections but after years of anarchy we have to start with something .

The only reason you believe that is because the bar was set so low. Somaliland and Puntland have mainly stagnated due to the limited funds and the development of an internal nepotistic kleptocracy.

Both have begun cracking down on journalists and arresting people without proper due process. This has culminated in the last 10 year "lack of vision" as @DR OSMAN has noted.

Farmaajo essentially started with hundreds of millions and wide felt support, if he has done more it has because he has stood on the shoulders of giants (mainly Abdulahi Yusuf ) and resources.

That said , Deni has begun turning around puntland into an economic haven. He understands that power is gained through the green not through violence. Muse Bixi is worse then tone deaf silaanyo who at least tried to hide his qabyaalad.

The ICJ case is also a continuation from the previous admin. Articles on it span as far back as 2012, its last stages coincide with his term is all

Many of the sspoter's are not acknowledging the fact that this admin has put qabiyaalad before development over and over again. If this administration worked harder and more efficiently, the progress would have been astonishing.

Keep in mind that Siad Barre no matter how mad he became, made the almost the entire population literate. And that other somali leaders did waay better than N&N.

Their first objective should have been reconciliation. The reasons for this are overwhelming known by everyone by now.
It would end the era of the civil war, the regions would become friendly again. The people would have been on the same side(meaning progression). And most important of all the republic would have become terrorists free(meaning the SNA being diverse and build up again).

Shortly said; 90%of our troubles would have been gone.

But no N&N literally hold back on many major development, to release them when their term is almost ending. Just for a bigger chance to be re-elected.

Deni still haven't done anything and no real ecconmic growth will ever happen in Somalia as long as electricity prices are that high.
