Mogadishu seems to be developing fast. Is this the Cali Mahdi tower?

If only we didn’t have so many haters from all corners, Mogadishu could’ve been the place, aesthetically no other city in Somalia can even compare

It is not non Somalis that blow up buildings though it is brainwashed Somalis themselves who do that crap but security seems to be getting better now.

Dont worry, Shabaab will blow all of that up as soon as they stop paying protection money. Hutu have really put themselves in quite the tangle

Muqdisho is a nice city so is kismaayo..
We Somalis are blessed with a great land.. But we lack brain

I was there back in 2018. I am the only SSpot moderator brave enough to visit Mogadishu  .
It aint as dangerous as people make it seem right. I use to walk at night from Sayidka to Xamarweyne then back to dabka. This was during HSM time where roads werent closed. Good times.

I was there a month ago I almost got killed
Lol, happens to all of us, you just get used to it after a year. My favourite near death moment was having my bajaj flipped 360 degrees due to accident and not having a single scratch.

Roads are annoying nowadays. Gotta get a bajaaj to go most places unless you know people.

Yeah one of the reasons I left cus the insufferable road blockages, I use to drive a Toyota Noah minivan and just flash my Canadian license plate as ID. Soldiers were so low IQ theyd just let me through, no wonder AS can easily penetrate.:drakekidding:

These fools trying to advertise a place that has parallel governments where both collect taxes from tgeee establishments. However, one is the rebels who stay alive from this financial bribery. They can never refuse.

Have y’all listened the VOA’s investigative program where they’ve spoken to the business owners of Mogadishu who blatantly disclosed that they pay taxes to the rebels. They were shocked to find out that the rebels had the receipt to their latest shipments :jcoleno::dwill::dwill::dwill: The business folks were like they were more sufficient
