Did you know marriage increases wealth?

Why would they be failed? And no need to be stingy, let’s say we all make 70k a year, that would be a pool of 350k, more then enough to take care of us all, in fact we can subtract one income to have one of the wives designated to housework/childcare, I don’t see the issue with a wife chipping in

:cryinglaughsmiley::cryinglaughsmiley::cryinglaughsmiley:

So let's say I make more thank 70K a year, I have to wake up early and work my ass off to take care of my husband's wives and other kids. Or the other option , I'm a maid and clean/cook/take care of 10+ kids and do my co-wives laundry.

Is this the american dream !

This is correct, Nouman Ali khan did an excercise in one of his tafseer class when he got to the verse in surah Imran that describes the males top desires

He gave the females in the class a piece of paper before the tafseer and the same to the males and asked them each to list there top 5 wishes.

The males all put the same things in the same order as the ayah states and did so quickly.

But the females were mostly unique and all over the place constantly changing there list taking forever to complete and still not settled

It's much like the dating scene today were they are all over the place confused and irrational with the decisions they make.

So your correct, they are complex and it's also out of hayaa it's not mentioned, it's the dominant opinion of scholars.
Listen to scholars.

I didn’t think you’d be the type to listen to NAK. Isn’t he too liberal in your view?

Listen to scholars.
I agree I love Nouman Ali Khan but hes not a scholar @Inquisitive_ please mention the scholars that support this "dominant opinion". You do realize omission by the Lord (and by extention the Prophet Sallahu calayhi wa salam) is just as significant as mention. I look forward to your response from a legitimate caalim regarding this manner. If you prove me wrong I will immediately accept your position.

«So here is the issue that needs to be clarified:Many people use the abbreviation “SAW,” “SAWS,” or “PBUH” to fulfill this obligation in their writing. Is this something that fulfills the obligation of sending the salaah and salaam on the Messenger? Let us look now to some of the statements of the scholars regarding this practice. The Permanent Committee of Scholars in Saudi Arabia headed by ‘Abdul-‘Azeez ibn ‘Abdillaah ibn Baaz issued the following verdict when asked about the validity of abbreviating the salaah on the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam): “The Sunnah is to write the entire phrase “sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam,” since it is a kind of supplication, and supplication is worship, (in one’s writing) just as it is in one’s speech. So to abbreviate it using the letter SAAD or the word SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM is not a supplication nor is it worship, whether it occurs in speech or writing. For this reason, this abbreviation was not used by the the first three generations, those that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) testified to their goodness.” [8] “SAAD” and “SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM” are often used in some Arabic books. The English equivalents of these abbreviations would be: SAW, SAWS, SAAWS, PBUH, and the likes. Al-Fayrooz-Abaadee said, “It is not appropriate to use symbols or abbreviations to refer to salaah and salaam, as some of the lazy ones do, as well as some ignorant people and even some students of knowledge – they write ‘SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM’ instead of writing ‘sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam.'” [9] Ahmad Shaakir said, “It is the absurd tradition of some of the later generations that they abbreviate the writing of ‘sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam.'” [10] Wasee Allaah ‘Abbaas said, “It is not permissible to abbreviate the salaams in general in one’s writing, just as it is not permissible to abbreviate the salaah and salaam on the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam). It is also not permissible to abbreviate either of these in one’s speech.” [11] And Allaah knows best. May the most perfect and complete salaah and salaam be upon our beloved Messenger, and upon his noble family and companions.»

Can you share with me the liberal view that he holds?

I don't agree with every view a scholar or speaker holds, but have yet to disagree with NAK.

I am confused as to what your position in this is, haven't followed the whole thread.

Are you arguing that because nothing explicit is mentioned for females for paradise that they don't get what they desire ?
Listen to scholars.
You just posted me something from Musa Richardson who doesn't claim to be a scholar either.

Now you may argue he quotes scholars but so does NAK in his tafseer, he goes through all the major tafseer heavy hitters and grammarians for each ayah something not available in the English language.

Now I know your a spubs brother and your list of scholars diminish every year and you even recently kicked haddee al madkhali from the manhaj

I would advice you as a brother to grow out of this cult mentality before it consumes you into that abyss.

I don't have a position as I am not a scholar but due to the lack of evidence I am forced to accept that such matters are not possible (women having multiple husbands in heavan) as this goes against the very fitrah nature of women here on earth. I hope you can link me the video of NAK so I can atleast check the original source.

I don’t believe he holds liberal views but there are those “staunch” muslims who do believe he punches above his weight group and decry his mockery of the importance of aqeedah.

His tafseers are amazing and that’s what I tend to listen to.

So the whole debate is if a female can have multiple husband's ? :ftw9nwa:

I forgot for a moment we were dealing with diaspora shameless types.

Only Allah knows such affairs and if those desires will even be present in there chests as they are today in Jannah :ftw9nwa:

As for NAK clip it's surah imran the verse that begins with the desires for men, might be on YouTube but I have subscription to bayyinah TV and listened to it on there

You brought up a great point, this dunya corrupts hearts, we know jealousy won't exist and thats the main reason they detest polygamy and such things may not even cross their mind in jannah IF we and them make it there inshallah

Thank you I will search for it.

These are mostly cult groups who have nothing to offer and jealous haters that don't have the same audience.

His work on bringing the miracles of the quran to an English speaking audience is the best material available today hands down.

Those who have listened to it and are not subscribed to cult groups or filled with hate know this.

NAK is good indeed. What do you guys think of Omar suleiman ? I've learnt a lot from them.

him and Hamza Yusuf taught me my deen, without them I would've been lost, I am still a flawed, hypocritical sinful person I know but I wish I can be like them, its so tough. Jannah aint easy folks

I like them both, each has his strength, Omar is far better at story telling and other topics outside the Quran especially relating to iman

While NAK beats everyone alive when it comes to the Quran in the English language because the depth and reflections he brings is unparalleled in this category, he shocks me everytime.

Hamza Yusuf and the moderate suufi daees are great at bringing a spiritual dimension to worship and understanding which is lacking with the salafist speakers who are mostly focused on external matters only and tend to be very narrow minded

As a result you see a lot of bad adab from them especially their followers despite them being relatively superior in knowledge on average in comparison to the average moderate sufi

But all that superior knowledge without adab is useless.

Subxanallah your arrogance is beaming through my computer screen. FGM is completely against Islam and is an absolute shameful and deplorable act. It is from the pagan Pharaoh tradition which has nothing to do with Islam.

Those girls show (hayah) or modesty, she would never post such shameful things, its sad how you think being sexually active is "liberation". No, it is a humiliation of the highest order. I feel sorry for you.
I never said anything graphic. I just said I wanted multiple partners in the next life like men do. How is that immodest when I say it, but not when you are going on about how you’ll get 70+ partners?
