Enjoy my blasting of Puntland Government Investment Forum. I want a Banking Forum on Puntland to end the PHOBIA on Bank and Religious Regression on our Society and enpower 90% poor class to become small business owners while also creating employment for other poor people. The best model is poor people hiring poor people and banks facilitate this by giving the poor class the capital needed to execute they're idea or invention which in turn will increase employment for other poor people.

The fight on poverty starts with BANKS. Without Banks your poor people remain the same and live on charity. It's either banks or sadaqo, mid dorro. This correlation has been seen in all nations lacking Banks unless you get lucky like the GULF and have oil or else you will become like EGYPT.

I hope SL executes a banking system. Not just saving accounts or credit card accounts. Not just storage of money. We need money to be stored then borrowing/lending to begin. Most Somali banks do not achieve this function due to religious restriction.

SL seems the most liberal to new ideas, which is a great feature of they're culture unlike PL which is very 'cautious' we got like @Cognitivedissonance types who dominate our society who want us to remain how we are. We need to weaken and disempower this section of our society or else we will regress while everyone else progresses.

If even one region in Somalia adopts a banking system with borrowing and lending, we can use that region unemployment drops to prove to other regions how they're getting richer and productive. As usual Somalis will copy as they fear another somali region being ahead of them. So all it takes is one region to move forward the rest will catch up. Power on SL

I disagree with that but SL is in a spiral of inequality due to bad management.


And with banking there are liberal thinkers who hold these type of events who want to be like the West but nothing happens for a long time as the conservatives have more influence.

In 2012 there were 5 international banks who wanted to establish in Somaliland and told the gov to pass a Commercial Banking act it has been delayed every year due to Dahabshiil influence who didn't want a competitor and Conservatives
