As the elections in Galmudug are underway and the President's candidate "Qoor Qoor" is all but guaranteed a win. The former leader of the region Xaaf as well as relevant actors are all on the same page. And at the same time the Mayor of Mogadishu Omar Filish and the leaders of HS/SWS have met to make their relations more routine. This cohesiveness will ensure that all regions in Somalia prosper equally under competent leadership. The era of uneducated warlords and regions conspiring with foreign adversaries is over.

Power isn't amassed in only 2.65 years. It's a long process that has no end point. And thus me and my peers are planning for the long-term. But one thing we can agree on is that peace in GM is good for the health of the country and that is something we are working on fixing at this time. Afterwards the ICJ decision and the JL dilemma will be given our undivided attention and resources to resolve. Your puntland region and the secessionist northern region will be the main focus afterwards and throughout the next few years. But one thing is for certain development won't be stopped for any group.
