This is my lineage hotel. The owner lineage is Hassan Yusuf, very close to me. I will stay there and u will find me here during the day time when I am garowe, but I don't need to sleep there as we got a villa at kowda august neighborhood. Reer Hersi are well established in terms of brain power and financial power. But I think they lack lots of private investment in PL, I could be wrong, they are heavily diaspora focused especially 'africa' for some reason.
Everyone has diaspora business men but u need to portion at least 10% to PL in terms of local investment which most clans don't, ESPECIALLY OMAR MAHMOUD. Burtinle could be doing FAR better but it's neglected by it's people. Qardho was like that not to long ago but they getting they're got act together.
I think the omar mahmoud who invest in PL are the local Omar Mahmoud not so much the diaspora Omar Mahmoud. But they do well in community initiatives like roads, schools, hospitals, ports. They do real well there, but in terms of private investment, I think they're lagging behind. I'll ask @Reer-Bari since he is in Bosaso and Galkacyo if this is the case or not?

I still don't trust 'pledges' untill I see work started. I am sick of 'meetings' and 'igu sawir' dhagax dhigis. It's embarassing doing such things when half those projects are never realized. We need more openings and ribbon cutting from our Govt. I remember how many 'dhagax' dhigis Farmaajo did and not has been realized, yet Kheyre goes around doing the same thing in GM and Baydhabo. It's silly game of fake news.
