What was your luckiest ever moment?

Being a motorcyclist, everyday is a lucky day for me, of I get home in one piece, that is. Somedays though, I'm not soo lucky.

Last year, I was travelling through Bayswater Road, heading eastbound towards Marble Arch. As I'm cruising down the road, a black cab on the opposite lane, decides he wants to do a u-turn onto the lane, I'm in.

The thing is though, did he not see me? Or did he indeed see me, but thought to himself that there was enough time and distance between us, to complete his manoeuvre? I don't know. But I do know, he f*cked for sure.

Then next thing I know, I end up hitting the left side of his bonnet, and I go flying. It must of been in the air for mire seconds, but that was some terrifying sh*t. As I'm in the air, all I see is a mixture of the sky and asphalt of the road. I then bang my left foot onto a lamp post, and land on my head. I rolled violently, before finally coming to a stop.

Alhamdulillah, I had no broken or fractured bones. Came out of it all with some scratches and bruises and a strained left foot.

Can't say the same for my dear bike, that I loved. I've had it for nearly six years, and it was write off in the end.

My mum was pregnant with me when bombs were going off in Hargeisa. I nearly needed a blood transfusion two weeks after giving birth. You never know when it’s your time. Waa qadr Ilahay.

Please don't say something cliché like "meeting my other half" or "seeing my Mum after 10 years"

What moment did you ever have that stood out to you? A raffle, a spin, bussing case from Fed etc. I want to know if anyone has actually ever won money or a free ticket to these party islands i hear about on the radio every day. :hmm:

As for me, I once made ~ £4,000 from an accumulator after correctly predicting the full time results of 9 football matches. Suffice to say that money has been blown quicker than a trumpet.

My cousins took me to a Casino in london and i won 2000.00 pound

I nearly got killed/ arrested . Years Back, I was coming back from mosque after isha and some Somali boys were waiting near the bookies on the way to my house. I decided to pray sunnah and stay back a min or two whilst the crowd was calming down
The boys were rushed by Opposite gangs. No Somali was spared that was there!
One was critically brain damaged, since they used a metal rod
One died after succumbing to the injury, 2 months later.
And the one which shook me to the core was that my best friend, who was also heading home from mosque, and he left before me, was nabbed by the police, when they arrvived and was sentenced to 2 Years for Joint Enterprise, just because he was outside. A star student, an scholarship ready for MIT, gone!
2 Mins determined his life. 2 Min later and he would have been alright, heading to America.

Allahimdullah, All praises to God that I am here today.

Arma WHY aren't your nails light color like everybody? its practically black

Wow didn’t know she had a wife. Bless her heart.
Your so childish. You women laugh at men and talk trash when the guy doesnt work but then when the guy works at some place out of your satisfaction you laugh. It's like their damned if they do and damned if they dont in regards to work place and work. Grow up. The man has a job, that's what matters.

Why are you bitter? How’s your warehouse working husband?
By the way If he did work at a warehouse , or some fast food place, or as a security guard SO WHAT!! he has a job. Waking up to go to any job isnt easy. Hes responsible and has his s**t together. Nurse, dr, surgeon, just because hes a man doesnt mean being a nurse is only for women. Grow up or shut up.

No wonder she got mad at me when I said my Faraax makes close to 10k a month.
I didnt get mad. Just your way of saying it gave you a bad look. Honey no one is bitter, jealous, angry or whatever else your small mind thinks. I just dont do well wth stupidity.
