Moral of the story. You saw a somali name. Assumed the worse of that person and was ready to tell her you are not somali. Then the somali ladys goodness and class changed your way. Lool so you took the most negative possibilty and ran with it. For all we know he could be stuck somewhere and had no chance to come? Or maybe the dad wasnt somali and this is a new ajnabi partner. Ok its not looking good for my man here. But as you know om a very fair man and dont like to jump to conclusion. But did she mention him? Maybe he is in africa and still waiting for his visa to come to the states? I really dont know why he wouldnt be there. Very unlike somali man not to be there in moments like this

As you work in hospital. I have to ask you. A close friend mine works in this field and he says using drugs us far more common with nurses and doctors compared to other fields and the long hours and stress of the job makes people turn to drugs. Bit random I know. But any truth in that

I haven’t seen that so far. It wouldn’t be drugs they could get through work. That’s impossible, bc every pill is accounted for. The most that’s happened is someone offered me their own [prescribed] adderall, bc I was dead on my feet.
The medical field is having suicide and burnout issues though, but if they’re self-medicating, they’re doing it on their own time.
