The court made that decision so as not to look biased toward Kenya they fired half their defense team 2 months is ample time for them to hire new lawyers to defend them keep in mind the ICJ is well aware of Kenya's diplomatic aggression against Somalia they also know about Kenya's disrespect towards them in their media this was a little slap to the face of the Kikuyus for their ni99er behavior to the ICJ and Somalia the great Katt Williams said it best

Kenya is taking this L, shame we have to wait for another two months, the wait is killing me.

I wouldnt be surprised if kenya is begging behind the scenes rn.

The most interesting shit isnt even the outcome of this since we kinda know it already, but what farmaajo does afterwards.

first of all, it was HSM who filed the case in the ICJ, not farmaajo.

the only good thing farmaajo did is not withdraw it which he cant do because the people will want his head.

Sxb in all honesty Farmaajo is at war with Kenya not Madoobe per se he may not want him in power but his main enemy is Kenya this the facts NO ONE can deny

Do I expect Farmaajo to officially ask Kenya if they stay on past the hearing to leave AMISOM in other words Somali territory. Yes but only after the official decision next summer. He doesn't want war or tensions with Kenya nobody benefits he's just against their policy of a buffer zone in Somalia (Jubbaland) or their illegal claim to our sea the thing is Kenya destroyed all trust with FGS after their shenanigans so their soldiers cannot stay in Somalia who are not needed anyway as Ethiopia,Uganda and Burundi are ready to replace them

we were right.

Before the court made this decision there was a meeting between the countries in the African Union discussing Kenya's wish for there to be mediation efforts by the African Union. They came to an agreement that the final decision would be left up to the International Court of Justice which is overseeing this case.

It's unfortunate that the case has been pushed back 2 months, however it's a far cry from what the Kenyan government was hoping for. They were looking for a delay that would of lasted about a year. However since the court has been made aware of the many transgressions Kenya has made in Somalia as well as their hostile behavior towards the Federal Government of Somalia and the ICJ. They made this decision to delay for 2 months so that the government of Kenya wouldn't have any disagreement in regards to the final conclusion.

As many could see the mere fact that Kenya has tried to delay the hearing at the last minute should be clear to anyone that they have no confidence in their ability to win this case. This minor accommodation was a result of putting to rest any talk of biases.
