I’d be glad whatever Allah has given me, but I might even prefer having daughters. Allah preferred daughters for the Prophet (s), and there must be hikmat behind that. From my observation it’s much easier to educate, mold, and protect your daughters. Girls have a much better overall physical health and mental stability then men. They are also less of a liability, since they are less likely to exhibit reckless behavior that can be detrimental to you or them. Also in your old age it’s your daughter who will be more willing to sacrifice her time, to assist you if you have trouble fulfilling your day to day tasks.

I think they will be good friends. And the fights spectacular lol! I can't remember the somali proverb but my mum used to say "Raising them is nothing compared to separating them during a fight". I love having sisters.

Very true, whenever I visit my brother I feel for the guy, he’s buying a new dinning table every other month. Boys break everything and are reckless. My sister has two little daughters and they can sit somewhere for hours playing peacefully with their dolls.

I feel for those two little girls imagine growing up with that many boys lol but MashAllah I wish more people will do what your cousin did, there are so many Somali children even in the west that need a family.Little boys are naturally more energetic and rowdier, therefore they will obviously be more chaotic.
