I’ve read. You wrote this “There has never been a Somali body builder” before “Even during the “glorious” days”. If you met during the glorious days you should have wrote. In the glorious days, there has never been a Somali body builder. Indicating that you met the past not the present. However, since you wrote “even” after a sentence that meant at all times that indicates that you met the past and present. But if you want to change it up and mean specifically in the past just write it like that
