Every mans nightmare

This is less common in our community, I can’t picture a xalimo being that conniving. I did hear couple of stories from back home tho, poor guy finds out the kid is not his when they are taking DNA test to bring them to the west, imagine the horror.

This is very common back home.

I know families who were exposed by DNA testing they had to do before relocating to EU. In of the cases, out of 5 children only 2 were fathered by the husband.

Then you have the phenomenon of grown incels having arranged marriages back home expecting these women to be chaste while they’re living abroad. Out of nowhere the woman gives birth and the incels accepts the child as his.

You must be smoking some strong stuff. What Islam are u following? Stop making stuff up

That is because the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The child is to be attributed to the bed (i.e., to the husband) and the adulterer deserves nothing.” Agreed upon. The relevant point here is that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not describe the child as belonging to anyone other than the bed (i.e., the husband), and he said that the adulterer did not deserve anything at all. Attributing the child to the adulterer is attributing the child to someone other than the husband.

The words: “The child is to be attributed to the husband” imply that attribution of the child is to be to the marriage only.

Instead of accusing people of 'making things up', why don't you actually do research? What proof did you have that I made it up, your own mere opinion? I come with facts walaal. Just because you don't like the sound of something doesn't mean its wrong. Fiqh and Sharia doesn't work that way. Do research first.

Any child born within the marriage takes the husbands lineage.

If a man gets a woman pregnant without marrying her, the child takes the mothers name despite the biological father being known.

That is not how it works in our religion or culture. It's haram to take the lineage if he's not your father.

(Reported by Ibn Maajah, 2599; Saheeh al-Jaami, 6104). This action is also a major sin comprised of two major sins, lying in order to consume wealth unlawfully and claiming to belong to someone other than one's father.

Here is the hadiths.

Lineage is attributed to marriage walaal and not biological as people during the time of the prophet s.a.w did not have DNA tests and Islamically adultury is hard to prove.

It is a fact that if you get a woman pregnant outside of marriage in Islam, the child would not be attributed to you, but the mother.

How about you do research first?

You are a liar the Prophet SAW was ordered by God himself to not allow his adopted son Zaid ibn Harith to adopt his lineage. His original name was Zaid ibn Muhammad but it was changed cause of God's order.

No way is a proven bastard kid by DNA able to take lineage, this goes directly against the Quran

Look at the hadith in Islamqa and do research first. If you actually research the scholarly islamic view point, you will realise that I am not lying. I am merely a layman and I have copied and pasted Islamqa source. Go ahead and call them liars though.

:manny:

Zaid ibn Harith was a adopted and that is a completely different point. No one is disputing that.

Every woman's nightmare is being trapped in a polygamous cult because she can't afford monogamy.

Research? Just given you the hadiths, walaal.

I showed you a hadith saying it's a sin to take your guardian lineage if you know he's not your real father.

It goes even further. If you claim someone's lineage and you know he's not your father. You're going straight directly to hell. So it's clear that this is forbidden.

Whoever wishes for the quick-passing (transitory enjoyment of this world), We readily grant him what We will for whome We like. Then, afterwards, We have appointed for him Hell, he will burn therein disgraced and rejected, (- far away from Allaahs Mercy). [al-Isra 17:18]

Based on this view, the illegitimate child – whether male or female – is not to be attributed to the zaani and is not to be described as his child; rather he is to be attributed to his mother, and he is a mahram to her and inherits from her like her other children.

That is what Islam says.

:yacadiim: Cucking.

Well the creator made it permissible because there are way more women than men in this world so who is going to marry the single women? Yes, married men as long as he is capable of having multiple wives.

No such thing as cucking for women. :manny:

This notion of one man and one woman is relatively a new concept and was introduced during the revolutionary period in the west. Polygamy has always been natural even among the animal kingdom.

Might be a nightmare for you but I know many happy women in polygamous marriages. :yacadiim:

We are not scholars so we can't interpret it. Obviously you can't claim someone is your father when you know he isn't, but going by scholarly views in the case of adultury in marriage its a different case.

Read this walaal. People are calling me a liar, but all I did was merely bring to a light a view held by many fuqaha. I read it from Islamqa,https://www.google.com/amp/s/islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/85043
Same with islamweb as well https://www.islamweb.net/womane/nindex.php?page=showfatwa&FatwaId=168603
Read the first paragraph.

Those scholars obviously know more than us. What reason would they have to lie about that??

Lets say your brothers wife got pregnant by another man. Would you tell your bro thats your kid....raise it?

This purely educational. The likelihood of that happening is very low authobillah. Also, if the husband has real proof aparently according to scholars he can deny the child through
Li'aan (i.e. when a husband and his wife invoke the Curse of Allaah on the liar amongst them in case he accuses her of having committed adultery)

Just read about it on Islamweb.

In real life walaal I would be disgusted. I am merely discussing Islamic fiqh. Yet people here are quick to get irritated and start calling me a liar. Why don't you contact the scholars from Islamqa and Islamweb and all the other islamic webistes?

Let's say the father actually thought it was his son and the son thought that was his real father. Allah won't punish them because they didn't intend to lie and claim each other. However, if the DNA test shows that he's not his real father then he has to research his real lineage as it says in the hadith.

You can bring many interpretations, that is fine but vast majority of scholars among the four madhabs agree and it is undisputed that the lineage is only through blood and it is haram to take the lineage of someone you do not belong to. This is found within the Qu'ran. That's why many scholars go back to the Qu'ran because there are many interpretations.

:farmajoyaab: How about in societies with more equal ratios of men to women?

Also, doesn't polygamy result in some men not securing a wife because they were snatched by higher status men.

I suppose women inclined to monogamy have no choice but to keep their husbands from saving to prevent the enlistment of new recruitment in the motherland (vacation wives).

Why is your interpretation in direct contrast with the sahih hadith I posted?

Why does the prophet say the adulterous man deserves nothing when it comes to his biological child, but the child is attributed to the husband?

Also, can you show me proof when it comes to the case of adultury please? On islamqa, they agree with the fact that you cannot take the linage of a man that is not your father, however adultury within marriage is a different case. It is a special case, due to the difficulty of proving zina.

If lineage is through blood then why does an illegitimate child take the name of his unmarried mother? This is something you cannot dispute btw, as all the 4 madhabs are in agreement and even Somalia in the past illegitimate children from unmarried women were considered tribeless.

Btw, this merely educational so i don't want emotional men thinking that I think cheated on husbands should raise illegitimate children. I wouln't wish that on an enemy.

I have to look this up. But im telling you right now. Law or no law i would abandon that bastard in a heart beat

Sxb that's way too harsh, what did the child do?

Ilaahay nooma keeno but i'd like to think if that happened to me after 8 years, i'd leave in peace for the sake of the child and come to an agreement with the that done man over, about what to tell the kid.

If the kid ever found out but still looked up to me as a Father, i'll show him/her a bit of love and help them towards their studies if i have a lot of wealth.

@Basra what do you think?
