I was minding my own business today, my sister invited me to lunch, while I was parking my car. This deranged, pig who clearly looked like two siblings produced him had the audacity to tell me to go back to Arabia and Arabs are the number one terrorists. I was shocked mortified, I called him a smelly, pig skinned idiot. This lovely gentleman who looked like he was a male model (too bad he was short) came to my rescue and told the guy to f*ck off. As I was walking away, I screamed I’m not even Arab you illiterate dimwit.


Something tells me @CaliTedesse would squeal with joy!

Somalis in diaspora either get usurped by Arabs or Blacks these groups are too large for Somalis to avoid.

I would be offended too.

I noticed sometimes ajnabis think all Muslims keep their women under lock and key.

This one lady asked me to read a certain book about an Arab princess enslaved by her family. She felt the book would be relatable.

:comeon: And I don't even wear a scarf. Nor do I look remotely Middle Eastern (which is what people base their assumptions off of).

Never in a million years could a Somali be mistaken for an ethnic Arab, including the "Full Caucasoid" Somalis that don't have Black African features, since they don't have the generic middle-eastern or more specifically Semitic features.

People don't seem to understand that our features are quite dissimilar. Even for those 100% ethnic Somalis on the pale side they make people confused.

Some Somalis do look Semitic. Go to @jamal9 ‘s 33yr old thread. If that guy was light and had curly/wavy hair, he’d look even more Semitic than already does. My brother is like that, but light with fine hair. Doesn’t look like the guy in question, but gets mistaken for Arab. I give more Indian subcontinent vibes.
