(Most) People are simpletons.

Most people don't care about the racial distinctions between Horners & other East Africans. They simply want unity based on a geographical basis & ignore the other factors. The only geographical union in Africa that makes sense is the Maghrebi/North African union, since they're all ethnically & culturally the same pretty much.

Plus, most Horners see non-Horner East Africans as fellow Blacks.

In all seriousness, they should reject both DRC and Somalia and just focus on those core Swahili-speaking countries.

Even accepting South Sudan was pretty stupid, IMO.

First they should have tried to make it work between a small number of countries before expanding too fast and making the whole project fail.

The concept of Black doesn't exist in Africa. I don't know what on earth you're talking about. Somalis who live across East Africa do not view non-Horner East Africans as fellow blacks, and nor do other Horners.
