Why has Gedo not been stable?

@sincity by unstable I'm presuming you mean security the security in Gedo is better than its ever been since the major offensive to kick out AS in 2009 who controlled the whole of Gedo the gobol has a history of instability because its a strategic trade corridor and a buffer zone for Ethiopia and important for Islamist as a launch pad to attack Ethiopia/Kenya and other gobol add in the disunity between MX subclans who joined different governments and movements and you'll understand why Gedo never has continuous peace unfortunately

2001-2005 pro-TNG vs SRRC
2008-2019 SFG vs AS
Every conflict I listed there involved mostly different MX subclans on both sides except for USC and AS which is mixed but slight majority are MX overall
I would say Gedo is well over 85-90 % MX but they are disunited they only fight themselves because there is no one else to fight nobody goes to war with us in this region against MX..Somalis are smart they never fight a battle they will definitely lose but as soon as they feel they have the numbers they will attack you for example look at Hiiraan we all know who is the majority it's Xawaadle but they are in a never ending fight against Jaajeele,Gaaljecel,Gugundhabe,Cayr,and others I can't remember only because they are barely the majority other clans feel like they can take them on you never see that in Gedo @Bohol

Hiiraan is even more diverse than Gedo hence the different clan clashes all the time. Forget Hiiraan, Beledweyne itself has different neighborhoods for the different clans

Yes but who's the majority its Xawaadle no doubt and everyone knows that there's no official census but if your in the know then you know that's how it works in Somalia everyone just knowsHiiraan is even more diverse than Gedo hence the different clan clashes all the time. Historically its always been Baardhere but I would say now it's neck and neck between Beled Xaawo and Baardhere
