I always forget how close Al Shabaab bases are to Mogadishu. The south won't be liberated until the year 2400 at this rate.

The army was recently reformed and the graduates from the Turkish bases are being deployed, they’re already very quickly clearing out LS.

It was mostly amisom there before doing nothing. At this rate, they’ll be gone very soon.

The region of lower shabelle has many many villages on the river banks. Check it out on google maps. And I believe the sna have taken over some of these villages previously but do not retain them for some reason

Y'all mean reliberated as that whole area was freed by Sheikh Sharif and shabab was held at bay there by Hassan sheikh.
