This happens all the time among the uniformed cops in the Western hemisphere and as long as there is not strong evidence (footage, witnesses) pointing that he assaulted the individual, then it will be his word against the civilian and the courts naturally side with the cop because of the hypocritical oath of his job. If there are evidences, lock him up.
