So “we wuz descendents of the Prophet” is all a lie? My ancestors were just a bunch of lame farmers from Israel? Thanks for killing my dreams man :mjcry:

Technically Somalis largely descend from Northeast Sudanese people of 4,000-6,000 years ago (proto-Cushites) whose ancestors before were admixed between the groups mentioned in this thread.

Do you believe that our proto cushitic ancestors were behind the nubian civilization? Or did that occur later?

Are all Bedouins related? And are they genetically the closest living populations to the magicians/neolithic levantines?

Technically Bedouin is just a lifestyle term, but apparently historically (before the 1950s) Bedouin Arab tribes tend to be higher in ancient Arabian origins, while the cosmopolitan urban Arabian tribes have more foreign influences (Turkic, Persian, Malay, Zanj, Indian etc). That's why I used Bedouin.
