As Muslims its mandatory to want to establish the shariah unless you're a filthy gaal or agnostic your opinion has no weight or matter.

From what little knowledge I have regarding ICU they are the only movement that bought peace and stability to somalia until the west told the xabashiz to attack them.

Can someone with more knowledge shed light on this ?


It's in the quran and its in the deen ruling upon other then Allah's laws will bring humiliation like no tomorrow.

The reason why poverty is rife and no progression has been made is because we have left the teachings of Allah no other explanation !!

This is ludicrous thinking , cutting the hands of thieves and stoning people won't work.

There is no law system which will work in every case , rather laws have to be added to and transformed depending on the situation.

It will work any muslim ruler in history who ruled by sharia has seen a decline in theft and major sins which bring nothing but humiliation and lacaan. Also increase in wealth and natural resources, you're calling it ludicrous because your caadaan masters told you so ?

Have a multi legal system.

Different cities vote on everything just like the Swiss do.

Only way to prevent fake Islamist like Al Shabaab from taking over (they were part of the ICU remember) and limit backlash from the more westernized geeljire who want a more liberal system.

Becoming a Sunni version of iran would work well. Nothing unites somalis like the deen. When i was in xamar, the locals looked back at the ICU rule with fondness. The ICU were not extreme back then, remember sh sharif was one of the leaders.

Saudi doesn't rule by shariah in all aspects its pockets of shariah.

Plus to rule by shariah you need a god fearing just ruler, theyre the opposite of that and one of the most corrupt countries in the world, they have no foundation of shariah apart from basic hukm punishment like cutting of arm ( even that I dont think they do anymore).

Al shabaab were the extremists within ICU but generally the majority of ICU was lenient and against the extremism of shabaab.

I agree only the deen can unite somalis and make them powerful like our ancestors the amount of powerful sultanates we use to have hundreds of years ago, all governing by shariah. The people were rich, they had Islam and ruled and dominated Africa.

It's true the west might not allow it as in my opinion I believe all current rulers are lapdops/puppets and only do what's in the interest of the west.

What I dont understand is, you've got natural resources , you've got your deen, you've got knowledgeable ulemah who can be qaadis and give advice. What's stopping Somalia from establishing shariah, we don't need this western gaalo concept of democracy and its injustices.

All somali ulemah should do a shuraa and discuss this

For hundreds of years many muslim kingdoms were world leaders and pioneers in various fields, while coming from a shariah based society.

Actually we don't have any resources.

We're missing skilled and educated human resources.

We don't have that many metal ore deposits.

I we're missing a lot of stuff and for that we need to trade.

Being sanctioned will make it harder to trade.

Have you got your sources to your claim saying there's no resources ? Because I've heard there's many deposits of metals such as uranium and gold sitting somewhere.


Also regarding sanctions doesnt North Korea still manage to trade even though it's got alot of sanctions ?

The black market is worth billions and billions and even if you are sanctioned many times you can still trade and make your economy powerful.

Billion dollars is peanuts compared to the economy of a country.

We need at least 100-150 billion for a decent standard of life fit our people.

Uranium deposits have been found but that's just expected with our geology.

However that same geology tells us that there aren't any iron ore deposits and very little of other metals with similar formations.

We can't eat uranium and if we can't trade it it's useless.

Also good luck in trying to sell uranium on the black market.

We're missing the bulk commodities that would pay for the most basics of an economy.

The only thing we have going for us is the minuscule amount of surface water resources... just enough for about 200k hectares of farmland.

Huge numbers of livestock isn't an asset btw but a liability
