You need to envision a Somali peninsula where no war happened . Prosperity and more green areas thanks to greater economy. Most wildebeests fled Somali territories but I believe it's still possible to have had a big migration too.

The Arabic dub actually sounds awesome. It’s Egyptian Arabic though. The one with textbook Arabic is ugly.
People told me Aff Soomali sounds like a mix of Hindi and Arabic when I blast Somali music. Not one dude thought it was Sub Sharan African, they were shocked when I told them it was Somali. They legit thought I was listening to Bollywood music.
That's Somali music sxb when it's spoken then sounds like Sub Saharan Gibberish ask anyone I asked my Turk friends. They say sounds African. Somali music is different story you have many genres. The pop one with qumayo screaming sounds Hindi.
Even when I speak it people say it does not sound African. Hell, one when I was at my local barber, I spoke Soomali and the Arab worked thought I was speaking a dialect of Arabic lol.
