What Ayan wrote about the hatred towards the Jews and in particular Israel by the majority of Somalis is factual. As a kid, I never knew what the word ‘Yahud’ mean’t even though I knew being called that word was the ultimate insult. When Ilhan expresses negative comments about Israel, she’s appealing to her Somali base. If all the Arab & Islamic countries establish a diplomatic relationship with Israel, Somalia will refrain from it.

I'm suprised at @Apollo understanding of our difficult education system. It's hard to get a degree here, even whites dont get it. Here universities do not offer nursery but vocational school offer them. In the US its a degree and you need scholarships and shit.

Ayaan didnt sell her soul to get into the parliament. She wasnt anti islam at all when she was elected by popular vote in 2002. Ayaan before her infidelity was like Lil Wayne in his prime. Pure genius.

Nobody exposed her lies. She confessed on her own that she lied on her asylum application to show that everyone lies when applying for asylum. She revealed that opposing a policy of a minister from her own party. That minister wanted to deport a refugee because he lied on his application, ayaan said 'so what? I lied too'. The whole cabinet fell and that minister never returned again.

As @Basra said, I only dislike her as a muslim. I found out that I am 80% muslim and 20% Somali. I say that because anti islamic rhetoric triggers me more than anti somali materials.

U dont have to sell it to me. I respect Ayaan in many fronts. I think she is delicious and highly interesting. I am interested in her life and progress. I always imagine what she and her delightful very interesting husband talk about. He is pompous, coxcomb, highly intelligent, conservative, not particularly sexy and attractive in the bedroom way, but certainly his big nose has character and potential. I am very curious when they sit for dinner, what do they talk about?? They are two phenomenon heavy weight intellectuals.

There is no question of her intelligence. But even smart people make bad choices. In search for allies she aligned herself with rightwing racist. They needed her to show they were not racist and it was all ideology. But she lost credibility over time associating herself with actual right wing racist

She fell in love with intellectual white nationalist. Their base are the more ignorant angry whites. But people like her husband know in the world of ideas being out an out racist gets you nowhere. They are more of the type who says europe is built on anglo saxon christian values and has to remain that way. They have no problem with otherraces as long as tgey adopt to their culture and values and whites remain top of the food chain.

Both are ignorant of Islam. And that is usually the case with all atheists who were born to Muslim parents. They are driven by lack of faith/iimaan and the need to justify their choices.

As you said and I absolutely concur with you that Ayan has an above average I.Q than most Somalis, given that admission from you, then don’t you think that she could be a better judge about Islam than her half naked nomadic ancestor whom first accepted Islam because everyone else in his era and community accepted it? You are wrong about IQ being tied to beliefs or lack of them. Tradition and culture weigh more on the person than a thorough analysis on beliefs in many cases. Being materialistic is also a driving force on many. Case in point: Obama who is born to a Muslim father and who grew up experiencing some Islamic culture and exposure, but who in adulthood opted to practice Christianity. Obama is very smart yet opted into believing three Gods in One that no logical human being can explain satisfactorily to another human being . It comes down to Obama leaning on blind faith despite his IQ level.

The idea that there is connection between IQ and lack of faith is pure delusion. Feel good kinda story you tell yourself mate.
