Trump is now being overtly racist to POC this includes a Somali.

We have people in this forum (all Male I’ve noticed!) who are actively celebrating this.

I’m dumbfounded, do you not realise that when the president is able to tell a Somali person to go back to their country this is emboldening racist white people to verbally attack Somalis in this way?

Somalis are not protected from racism and as they are categorised as “Black” “refugee” “immigrant” and “Muslim” they are some of the most vulnerable people in the world when it comes to the far right.

Please explain to me and the other rational minded people in this forum why you think someone with the same background as you being racially abused is funny. This does not make sense. Why would you go against your own interest and support someone who hates people like you?

They agree with him, just not in reference to themselves. It’s the same way they feel about Bantus and certain other groups in Somalia.

It’s the ultimate confusion of living in a country that isn’t native to them, whilst holding nativist sentiments.

When it’s a case of another Somali like them being attacked, there’s still the conflict of believing in the underlying logic of being hostile to “outsiders” and that “outsider”, in this case, being them.

There were ppl like @Jaydaan, who seemingly don’t feel any connection to their country (the UK), for whatever reason, tiring himself out by arguing no one else should. He was practically attacking Ilhan with his aggressive stance on how most American Whites feel about her. Actually, it’s pretty easy to feel part of the US fabric and have an American identity, contrary to Europe (or so it seems).

No one from his party who runs the coyntry came out and disagreed with him. Trump represent what a lot of white Americans thinks but cant say out loud. Some of you have fallen for the left wingers silence tactics and think because certain thoughts have been shamed to be said out loud they dont exist. And now when the president said it out loud and you can see it wont hurt him one bit you are confused
