You made a off the cuff post where you said "colonialists saved us", which is clear claptrap buffoonery. Instead of making the focal point of your rant my post, you should realize that by displacing one ethnic group ie the somalis in 5 different countries, colonialists did all the damage needed to put us in the predicament we're in today.

Somalis at the time knew this and that's why reer waqooyi specifically and other somalis generally pushed vehemently to unite all 5 somali territories.

Do you seriously believe Somalis who never formed a single central state before 1960 would've united to form a state, trained/ organized armies with modern weapons and have set aside all their clan differences, and be able to to defend themselves against the incoming xabashis? I'm not denying the colonialists split the Somalis but you have to realize they set boundaries that prevented Ethiopia from encroaching further into our lands, this isn't something you can stop with a bunch of geeljires, you need to to have the backing and organisational power of a state in order to defend your lands.

My second grandmother was dhulo and her family lived in Harar city(Harar was Somali city checked about prince Nour Somali ruler who built Harar Great Wall ) she only moved back to Somalia to married my second grandpa and her family left there.

Sorry Abaayadiis. Mudug and Galguduud states also share border with Ethiopia. And no one in my immediate family is born there.

Anyways, Ethiopians here are cool. No problemo with 'em what so ever.
