I’m guessing you reside in UK? I heard buying a house in London is impossible. My cousins from London always get shook when they visit us and see the family house. You could buy mansions by the lake for like 500k.

Salaries are higher in America and taxes are also lower. In addition, most European Somalis speak English while American Somalis don't speak non-English European languages. It would make zero sense for an American Somali to move to Europe for a loved one. It would be a downgrade for them, except perhaps Switzerland.

Aussie, you don’t have to live in Minneapolis to be surrounded by liberals, my family lives in the suburb and it’s no different than Minneapolis. Also the MN conservatives are the fuuley smile in your face types, you don’t usually come across racist like you would in the south.

America is diverse and has suburbs or regions with similar quality of life as Denmark.
Only thing Denmark has over the US really is free university education and low debt after college, but everything else can be obtained in the US.

Most companies offer maternity leave, my work offers 3 months of maternity leave 3 months of paternity leave. I pay less than 200 for healthcare including dental. It just depends on who you work for, but I definitely agree about healthcare as a whole is a nightmare in the states. Most people use scholarships and grants to help with school and federal aid pays for most Somalis education, that’s why you rarely see a Somali with student loan debt, trust me when it comes to higher education, Somalis and most minority get it for free, it’s the others that are doomed lol

@Whimsical fanatic last time I was in Australia I had layover in Melbourne on my way to Bali, the 15 hour flight a lone makes never want to visit Reer kangaroo. Speaking of Kangaroo we recently got new baby kangaroo in MN zoo, no reason to go all the way to Australia now.
