If you manage to get this money out, you better spend it on developing your territories. I don't want to see the dollars getting to your head and making you forget about what really counts: your qabiil.

@Bohol

Just use Brute force techniques using variations of passwords your brother usually uses.

The passphrase is probably one of the same few passwords he used over the past decade.

If it's the private key he lost then my condolences...

Just password. Yes brute force is a option as well.

Put up a request for a security expert on freelance websites and describe your problem.

They could probably do it for a couple hundred bucks if not for less.

Alternatively, if you have access to technical chops then you might want to try a few free cracking libraries that are built specifically for your problem.

Here's one: https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover/blob/master/TUTORIAL.md#btcrecover-tutorial

I would be careful @Bohol. If you involve other people, they could steal it.

They'll need access (remotely or physically) to the computer that has the wallet if they want to steal the bitcoins.

As long as you just get a script from them that you can run yourself you should be safe.

Just make sure that there aren't any backdoors that opens your computer to them.

Also don't contact hackers using the computer since they'll be able to trace your computer and remotely hack it.

Someone with l33t skills could easily hack your computer just by the IP address stored in this site's log.
