A brother has a wife who can't cook

I went one a day trip with a few brothers and the food was provided by one of them which was made by his xaas. It had no flavour or taste. It was honestly not fit for even a child who cannot speak about their displeasure.

I was quite angry because he should not have offered to provide the food. When you go on short trips, you eat at restaurants. I had to confirm with the others that I was not wrong and they asked me to not bring up this issue with him but they agreed.

He is our good friend and he should not be subjected to this at the home. He was desperate for a wife a few years ago that I think he has overlooked this obvious flaw and this food was offered because he has lost the taste in his tongue.

I am contemplating telling him about this concern. His kids may resort to eating chicken and chips everyday when they become older and he may be embarassed in the future when others find out (I hope he never had to provide food to marti).

If it taste good for him....then all good. Its not like he came to you and brought it up. Be grateful for the food and keep it moving

They were nice enough to offer you free food. Please dont stick your nose where it doesn't belong!

Atleast he has a wife who provides hot meal to him while you're one lonely, miserable, women hating prick. I bet the food tasted great but you're a hater so everything tastes bitter to you because of your bitter heart.

You are a horrible friend and he has horrible taste in women as no man should suffer like that

Horta thank you for sharing such a private moment with us with the intention of solving the issue u brought forth. It showed that there’s hope since u never brought it up to the them and came to us for answers. You did good.

First u have to recognize the fact they 1) invited u as a guest. It means that the husband cherishes ur company and wanted to share a moment with his closest friends. 2) they intended to feed u. Nothing says friendship like a full stomach, a moment full of stories, laughter and feast. Despite the fact that u didn’t enjoy the food, u have to acknowledge their beautiful intentions full of positivities. Believe it or not, I can only wish to be there, it definitely has all the traits and hallmarks of my favorite moments.

Sxb Cooking like all other skills is not something u are born with, it’s something u learn and depending on amount of energy and practice u put in to it, a person can absolutely master it. I would suggest helping them out, no one knows what u like the most then u. So one of these days convince ur buddy to host a sports game or something, go there early with recipes and show them the way :)

Obvious flaw? Just cause the food was bland

In case you didn’t know there’s more important things to look for in a wife and cooking isn’t one of them cause that’s a skill you can learn anytime but a good personality,character , manners is more important cause she’s gonna be the one to raise your kids
