You expected something here didn't you?!?!?
Why would a Horn reformation be called Abyssinia? I thought that Abyssinia was near Anatolia? That place where all the gaalo arabs come from, that they moan about being taken by the muslims about on twitter.

the arabs view somalis as ethiopians, most of them do , they view the horn as greater Abyssinia not just the Arabs but white people as well , the same way we view the middle east as all arab

Your thoughts on this absurd video:stopit:

screw that, why do you guys focus on ajnabis , how about focus on somalia and create a federation and dismantle the deeply divisive federal states with a federation you can have governors from each states representing the people from those areas in a parliament

and you wont have warlords from federal states undermining the central governmentnt:siilaanyosmile:

No I'm saying we don't view the Middle East = Arab. There are kurds, turks, jews and Persians too u know.

Your view =/= everybody else's.

I disagree with that Arabs view the Horn as all Habesha. Most of them are aware of how Somalis are different.

But I agree with that many uneducated Somalis view the Middle East as largely Arab.

Yeah some back home sure, but everybody in the diaspora is somewhat versed in the great Middle Eastern drama. And everybody who follows some news know better too

i was talking about ordinary somalis who view the middle east as all arab like iraqis and yemenis syrians, and am sure arabs in those countries do the same to the people of the horn as well which is not a suprise when i hear arabs doing this

Arabs know a lot about the Muslim world.

I think white people make this mistake more. I have been mistaken more for an Ethiopian or that Somalia and Ethiopia are all the same by white people than by Arabs.

The ordinary Somali knows the Middle East is a mess, and that Turkey and Iran aren't Arab. You keep saying the Middle East yet only list (mostly) Arab countries, which shows more about your own ignorance than the ordinary Somalis'

Arabs in all those countries you listed are well aware of Somalis living in the Horn lol

Lol. Hungarian and Swedish have more in common with eachother than most Afro-Asiatic languages. Afro-Asiatic isn't even a language family, it's more of a superfamily. I think Semitic, Berber, Cushitic etc. are their own language families.

The big differences between Afro-Asiatic groups is primarily due to non-Afro-Asiatic absorption rather than simple divergence.

Berbers: Afro-Asiatic + Neolithic Anatolians who entered the Maghreb via Iberia.

Chadics: predominantly Niger-Congo in the case of the Hausa or Niger-Congo-Nilotic mixes for the other Chadics to their east. Some Afro-Asiatic on their paternal side, not so much autosomal.

Omotics: primarily paleo-Ethiopian hunter-gatherer for the Southern ones while high levels of Cushitic in the Wolayta/North Omotics.

Coptic/Ancient Egyptian: primarily Afro-Asiatic in origin, minor Iranic influences (Sumerian-like/Euphratean).

Cushites: Afro-Asiatic + proto-Nilo-Saharan

Semites (the real ones): Afro-Asiatic + significant pre-IE Iranic peoples (Sumerian-like/Euphratean).

this isn't even a logical grouping lol the populations share no commonalities, I mean just look at whats happening right now in Israel and how their treating their Semitic habesha brethren lol
