I know Adeer Geele, you can drop off your package for him in yemen and he will swim all the way to berbera. He is very reliable and he is rated 4.5/5 on yelp

What about USA

Get your wife to ask around g. Know anyone that went to Somalia for more than a year? Ask how they moved their stuff over.

The only reason I know about the UK ones is because my grandma used to send stuff back on a regular. Approx £1 per 2 kilos, with a 4 month delivery time.

Shipping to Somalia in general is hard, even to Xamar. The way my family does it is like this: find a family friend who's going to Somalia and send the item with them. Contact the recipient and have them meet the family friend somewhere they both know - i.e a hotel in the neighborhood.
However, from what I'm understanding, by reading in between the lines, you're trying to move large objects ( e.g furniture), so I would use FedEx, since I've seen plenty of people in my area use them. As for getting it from the port to the address, you're gonna have to use some old fashioned elbow grease and a toyota pickup, unless you have a van to carry said item in.

Apart formt these 2 options, I have nothing else to add. Hope it helps

Yep pretty large items. Its a car and a whole bunch of other stuff but I'll be placing them all in the car.

Found one that will do me £1,200 looking for a better price.

BUT - mainly need to know what the import taxes & charges are that will need to be paid at Berbera.

It'll be more cost effective to dump them in Mombasa and then drive them 2,000 km back to the north.

Probably will save you a couple hundred bucks per ton.

There’s a family in my town that have a monopoly on this trade.

It costs $150

They’ll give you a barrel to fill up

Lol a barrel, that's for small fish probably clothes and small items

A lot of dudes who send their family back home continuously use it. That barrel can hold a lot. They stuff it with all the food items family was use to here. As well as a kitchenware
