These are only 7 questions---we don't know the full length of the history exam so it's pure speculation to imply that the test is centered on Turkey---the test could be very easily 50 questions, and in that case 7 questions is not that many, and not unreasonable given that Turkey is one of Somalia's most important foreign diplomatic and trade partners now.

not only is this knowledge useless, but you could literally skip the whole year show up test day and pass this weak test, there was nation cheating scandal over this?
This is good you guys have no aragtii it will make them realize the petty state they are in people in an empire centuries old lived better than them.

the only question that is remotely difficult is 6. I could get the other questions right without the need of multiple choice.
The Turks didn't adopt Mogadishu out of altruism, they have an agenda as does every country that provides aid and assistance. When Somalis used to give charity to Arabs before they found oil, do you think Arabs learnt about Somali history? Or that they waved our flags around or travelled to Somalia?

The multiple choice section is 20 questions. We're looking at a third of it.
Then that would be troubling.
The easy language is not that bad since these are not Native speakers of English--and because of that I think the questions need to be made more rigorous and in Somali to identify the bright students---whats bad is the Ottoman jingoism and how much space it takes up on a small test.

In some parts of Somalia, grown adults can not count in Af Somali and most of the population have zero knowledge of Somali history and couldnt care less.Why on earth is test in english? have we become gypsies in our own country? I remember i wanted to install internet in my place and the contract i signed was written in English. People write Af Somali however they feel like and it has no regulation. This is throughout all of Somalia.
Only course of action is new educated Somali diaspora who still retain our deen and dhaqan to go back and change things. The Latin script is a curse on Af Somali and has only contributed to its decline

@Samaalic Era @Mighty we actually have our own script the wadaad script was created by the famous Ahmed ibn al kawneyn, a name most Somalis wouldn't know
