How come the practice of co-parenting isn’t seen much in the Somali community?

I mean usually fathers just abandon their kids altogether wash their hands of any responsibility while the mothers try their best to raise their kids

Parenting is a two person job and Somali Fathers raise their kids along with Somali Mothers. Degenerate welfare munching UK gaajo folks do not represent Somali Fathers :drakekidding:

Oh yeah. It is true. It is really prevalent in our society and it happens more frequent than we hear about it.

I guess they don’t see it as their responsibility, hence they don’t put it much effort or time into raising children. They see it as woman’s job and there their roles in the family hierarchy are as the providers of the house. Rarely will you see a father interacting with their children. It really isn’t a character Somali men are known for. The only attention they give their children is when they misbehave or their education/dugsi lessons are not going as well as they thought it would. It is left to the mother to interact, chase and raise the children.

There could so many factors.

The vast majority of diaspora Somalis are raised by both parents. Remarrying is not a problem. Leaving kids can happen anywhere due to degenerates but for you to try put us on a level of kudhufo kadhaqaq and we don't raise our kids. :susp: Little princess you might have Daddy issues don't put us in your basket.
