Oh what a large swathe of land our fathers have paved for us
I wonder when our Imhotep will live who builds for us architectural wonders and pioneering discoveries in the medical field.
We have only recently exited the predynastic chaos and great men the likes of Menes have roamed our deserts( Boqor Cisman, Boqor Keenadiid, Sayyidka)
We are early dynastic times with few pharoahs and even fewer admirable (Siad Barre Cabdullahi Yuusuf) and pharoahs we would want erased from the annuals of history( you know who they are)
I wonder when our Sesostris will live who will reclaim our lost lands.
Oh how sweet the day when i shall travel to the different cities of our vast land; to Zeylac to Badhan to Xamar to Ras kamboni. To Jigjiga to Garowe to Bosaso to Kismayo and Hargeisa . To Djibouti and to Dire Dhaba.
How i wish to live for centuries to come and witness these events and individuals. Oh how i wish to live a thousand years and bear witness to our Ramses and the might of our empire stretched wide and far.
Our story has only begun. The somali empire phoenix of two empires(Punt/Egypt) shall be a living wonder of the world. This time our empire wont go extinct and leave only walls to tell our story. We shall tell it with our mouths.
